We will usually collect your name, email address, phone number and (if on social media) your handle, because it’s in our legitimate interests to make sure we can properly respond to your query.
- When you book to use our studios.
We will collect your name, email address, phone number, address, company name and address (if applicable) and your payment details. We collect this in order to take steps to enter into a contract with you to use our studios.
- When you visit our studios.
We will collect your name, email address and phone number. We collect this because it’s in our legitimate interests to know who is visiting our sites and to ensure we can meet your requirements.
- When you sign up to receive our news updates.
When we send you our news updates because you have opted-in to receive them, we rely on your consent to contact you. You can unsubscribe from our updates at any time by responding to any email you receive from us to tell us you wish to unsubscribe or by contacting us using our Contact page.
- To tell you about our services that you may be interested in.
If you are a customer, we will collect your name and email address to provide you with our news updates and information about other services we offer that are similar to those that you have already booked or enquired about. We also identify prospective new customers and contact them by email for marketing purposes. In each case, we do this because of our legitimate interests to promote our business to those we think will be interested in hearing from us. We will usually collect your name, address, email address, phone number, payment details, car licence plate and information provided within your CV. We collect this information because it’s in our legitimate interests to know who is attending our events and courses and in order to take steps to enter into a contract with you to attend our courses. We may also ask you to provide us with any accessibility or dietary requirements to ensure we can make our events and courses accessible to you, we will only collect this information with your consent.
- When you apply for a job with us.
We may collect your name, contact details, recruitment information (e.g. right to work documentation and references), test results, qualifications, accreditations and any additional information we may receive from our recruitment partners. We will use your personal information to assess your suitability for our available roles. We do this to perform our contract obligations or to take steps at your request, before entering into a contract. Where we process your right to work documentation, we will do so to comply with our legal obligations.
- If our business is sold.
We process your personal information for this purpose because we have a legitimate interest to ensure our business can be continued by the buyer. If you object to our use of your personal information in this way, the buyer of our business may not be able to provide services to you.

We do not sell data for marketing purposes, but may share your data with an event organiser where we run events and courses with co-promoters. We will always tell you before (usually on the event registration form) and you will be given the chance to opt-out before we do this.

Where Is Your Data Stored?
We store your data on our secure servers, which are based in the UK.
When we share your information with our third-party booking system provider, they may store your data within or outside the UK or EU. Whenever we transfer your personal information outside of the UK and the EU, we ensure it receives additional protection as required by law.

How Long Do We Keep Your Data For?
We will only retain your personal information for as long as we need it unless we are required to keep it for longer to comply with our legal, accounting or regulatory requirements.
We delete your studio booking information 6 years after your last booking with us. Other information related to your enquiries will be deleted 2 years after your last enquiry.
In some circumstances we may carefully anonymise your personal data so that it can no longer be associated with you, and we may use this anonymised information indefinitely without notifying you. We use this anonymised information to improve our services.
What Are Your Rights Under Data Protection Laws?
You have various other rights under applicable data protection laws, including the right to:
- access your personal data (also known as a “subject access request”)
- correct incomplete or inaccurate data we hold about you
– ask us to erase the personal data we hold about you
