Pinewood Group has recently announced the appointment of Farrah Charles as General Manager of Shepperton Studios.

As Farrah Charles begins an exciting new chapter in her career, we want to take a moment to reflect on her journey at Garden Studios.

As our Head of Client Services for three and a half years, Farrah has been instrumental in shaping not just how Garden works with its clients, but the culture, values, and sense of community that define the studio today. Her dedication, care, and belief in the importance of genuine client relationships have helped Garden grow into the place it is now, and her influence will continue to be felt long after her departure.

We asked her a few questions to reflect on her role and time at Garden.

What is your favourite moment from your time at Garden?

“For me, it’s been the overall experience of being at Garden Studios and witnessing the growth of the company that’s been the most amazing part.

Garden is very much a start-up within the studio world I remember my very first meetings with Thomas and hearing about his vision to expand the studios and now seeing that vision come to fruition has been incredible. Watching that overall growth has been my favourite experience.”

What is your greatest accomplishment?

“Growing a very strong client services team. It was so important to me that everyone truly understood that the client experience is our end goal.

It’s not just about clients coming in, having a studio to work in, it’s about making sure they want to come back. I’m incredibly proud of the team we built. They’re an amazing group of people.”

What are the biggest lessons you’ve learned about client services while working at Garden Studios?

“Garden is a very independent studio, and we’ve had to work extremely hard to get our name out there. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that even if you’re small in the grand scheme of the studio world, you can still achieve big things if you’re dedicated.

Again, it always comes back to the client experience. If you get that right, everything else follows.”

What will you miss most about Garden and the people here?

“Honestly, Garden and the people.

Garden is a very unique place, and everyone there puts their heart and soul into what they do, whether that’s facilities, client services, catering, or security. Every department plays a part.

I’m going to miss everybody and everything. The journey has been truly amazing.”

If you could describe your Garden journey in three words, what would they be?

“Growth.
Amazing.
Community.”
